Arrabon reborn

Arrabon bags for boards, exclusive to Sangria & Lace this weekend, are handmade, unique, with individually sourced fabric, fully flannelette lined, you’ll wanna sleep in one yourself, truely.

To pre order, you can have a look at some fabric swatches, or just tell us the kind of theme/colours/style you like.

Sangria and Lace is a coming together of all things creative – presented by local artists at the Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club on September 24 and tailored just for the Central Coast. It is an all encompassing event which features vintage clothing, fine art, photography, local designer labels, accessories, short film and more. Free entry!  From 7pm sangria cocktails will be served for a gold coin donation and the night will become an over 18s event on beautiful Terrigal beach front. Join us!!

Arrabon, was the name my parents gave the farm, where I first lived. We took the name with us. My mum once made a red and black corduroy board bag for my little bro, she made a label for it called Arrabon. So i took the label with me. Arrabon is derived from an ancient greek word meaning the seal, a token and pledge of final redemption, a nonredeemable deposit guaranteeing our eternal inheritance. So I take my arrabon with me.

Exhibition

Sydney Museum Surf City exhibition of surf culture in Sydney during the golden  50s, 60's, and 70's opens this weekend, its around for a few months, so plenty of time to check it out, this pic is from the curators blog where you can get a taste of it. Or if you have a spare 6 minutes you can watch this.

Gratefulness

I really appreciated a friendly peaceful Tuddibaring today after this yesterday!
For a while there I thought I had been transported to Longbeach, New York in my sleep, but no it's just Bondi beach during a spring heatwave.
